TINT2U’s Monsta Hilux gets KMC Rockstar 2

When our good friend TINT2U came in, we knew he’d want something big. Already with a huge set of wheels and tyres, few inch lift and not to mention him himself is one BIG guy! We knew he’d be after something Monsta (see what we did there?).

Going through the showroom the KMC Rockstar 2 was the most desirable wheel, the slightly larger size to his current wheels with an even more aggressive offset ensured they would stick out about 10mm further than his past wheels and the new tyres a touch bigger, the Monsta Terrain Grippers that is.

When this oldschool Camaro Z28 rolled up, you knew something special was here. The whole building had a slight shake due to the highly tuned, supercharge LS3 and drag exhaust. We won’t lie, nearly all the staff had to come out and have a look… but I guess that’s an old-school muscle thing.

Harnessing all the power isn’t easy but it is translated through a 4-link rear end, with HUGE Nitto INVO semi slicks sinking all the killerwasps (kilowatts) into the tarmac. It’s not every day you see one of these and even though it’s just a set of tyres, we had to share a pictures.

Through the lens, Week 7 - 2016 @ Ozzy Tyres

What a week! Can time slow down? 7 weeks of the New Year have already flown past and now we’re in the shifting into the last week (and a bit) of February! We know it’s not just us feeling the heat; the whole of Sydney has been enjoying some blue skies this week. Not for the team in the workshop though, they haven’t seen sunlight this week because the workshop has been pumping with servicing and fittings.

This week the workshop had its work cut out for them, receiving a handful of cars which didn’t exactly have a job sheet but more so a ‘do what you need to do to make these fit’. In the wheels world, we all know how hard this can be… but the team pulled it together and using all of our amenities, like our CNC and machine room we managed to dial in these customers cars to perfection!

Our online store had another killer week, with last minute (and/or LATE!)  Valentines gifts snapped up using the extended sale code. We’re excited to see the photos of the happy couples and their new wheels over the next few weeks. In the showroom we received a few new models, but you’ll see those in our blog next week… until then, we’ll let the photos do the talking because that’s what it’s all about! Holden VF SS Ute gets Lexani R12

The Holden VF SS ute is arguably the best looking ute that’s ever come from Australia’s domestic market, it’s smooth body panels amplify its lines and make the whole car look almost sport cars like. Now days the SS packs an LS3, which was once only for Holden Special Vehicles, with such a power plant and great sport car looks…. What else is there to do except wheels, tyres and a subtle lowering!

For this owner, this was exactly the case. With a few ideas of what he wanted the search was on for a wheel which; 1) Black with Polished Dish 2) Deep dish 3) Concave 4) Milled spoke egdes 5) Clear the big Brembo brakes 6) Staggered set up. Ok, this owner knew exactly what he wanted but lucky for him… we had more than 1 wheel which ticked every box.

Through the lens, Week 9 – 2016 @ Ozzy Tyres

Another cracking week in the land of wheels and tyres, Ozzy Tyres! We’ve been working really hard lately, everywhere from the warehouse to the office has been under the pump and we’re LOVING it! The busy nature has allowed us to meet more customers face to face each day and for the ones’ who can’t make it in… a truck load of wheels and tyres has left us every day this week!

This week we saw the arrival of two new wheels in the showroom; one being the Avant Garde M580 in Dark Tint and two the Hussla MIA 641 in Black with Machined tips. The first set of M580’s have already been sold and the write up and video for one very fat Bentley Continental GT will be up next week.

We’ve had the pleasure of expanding our team in the office and we’d like to thank them for all the hard work and to once again welcome them to the team! Patrick our newest marketing junior really hitting the ball out of the park this week and deserves a special mention.

Bentley Continental GT gets Avant Garde M580

It feels good to be the first and for the owner of this black Bentley Continental GT, he’s exactly that. He’s lucky #1 in Australia to get a set of Avant Garde’s newest wheel the M580 in Dark Tint. What exactly is Dark Tint you might ask? Well it’s basically a black wheel which has had the face machined back to raw metal and from there a clear coat with a dark grey tint has been added in. The end product means through the day you’ll get the sharp edges of a dark/machined face wheel and at night the rim will almost be completely black.

Measuring 20x10 on all four corners, the big bulky guards of the luxury sports Bentley were assured to be filled. In addition a very wide set of Pirelli P-Zero tyres were wrapped around the AG M580’s giving this Grand Tourer the traction it will need to reach the horizon. Nissan R34 GTR’s are becoming quite the collectors’ car, with their prices plateauing and on the slight increase; it’s rare to see them out and about and being enjoy. But for this GTR owner that isn’t any option and not only does he want to drive it as much as he can… he also wanted some good looking, strong, concave wheels!

HSV Clubsport gets the Avant Garde M580 Dark Tint treatment.

Whilst the Bentley was in getting the very first set of Avant Garde M580’s in Dark Tint, this beastly HSV rolled in after some new wheels. With it’s size and colour matching the Bentley… watching the M580’s transform the big luxury grand tourer left him thinking…. And I’m sure by now you know what popped into his mind.

Moments later there was a 20x10 Avant Garde in Dark Tint leaned up against the HSV, and yes it looked as good as he thought. In no time at all, a set of Zenna tyres were wrapped around 4 20x10 AG M580 rims, bolt up and wheel aligned. The end product is mean, the fitment slightly aggressive almost overfilling the guards and giving some poke up the front.  The new M580 is sure to be a crowd pleaser and we can’t wait to see them fitted up to more cars and especially more domestic market sedans!

Through the lens, Week 10 - 2016 @ Ozzy Tyres

Where has the time gone? We’re nearly halfway through the third month of the year and 2016 has been an absolute blur. If it wasn’t for our weekly reviews, customer stories and everything in-between we would demand an explanation … but instead we know our story and once again here’s the catch up of week that was, Week 10 at Ozzy Tyres.

This week was a week of firsts, receiving a few new products but the showcase was without a doubt the arrival of Avant Garde’s newest wheel, the M580 in Dark Tint. A finish we helped create! Not only did it arrive but the very first car to get a set was a Bentley Continental GT. How’s that for firsts? The end product was gorgeous, so much so that a HSV VE Clubsport wasn’t far behind snapping up the second set in Australia!

Weekly Review- Week 11, 2016

Whoa, this week has been absolutely crazy! As we promised last week, we’re taking all of the best moments at Ozzy Tyres this week and writing a short story on what goes on around here.

To end this week on a high note, we have just received a fresh shipment of KMC Wheels. Our stock levels are now topped up and we even have some new models on offer and ready to be sent out. Our KMC Wheels range has now expanded to 17 different options, most with 2 to 3 finish options each… as if you didn’t have enough to choose from!

Along with the KMC Wheels, truckloads of Hussla Wheels came rolling in so we now have plenty of stock ready for you guys! Hussla’s have been pretty popular, especially the Hussla Zane and Hussla Mia, both in dark tint. What exactly is a Dark Tint you might ask? Well it’s basically a black wheel which has had the face machined back to raw metal and from there, a clear coat with a dark grey tint has been added in. The end product means that through the day you’ll get the sharp edges of a dark/machined face wheel and then at night the rim will almost be completely black. How awesome is that?

Talking about popular, we managed to install quite a few sets of Monsta Tyres this week too! Monsta is an Australian owned tyre company, with their first production tyre being an all-terrain known as the ‘Terrain Gripper’. A year round tyre, with great performance in both dry and wet across all types of terrain. Its quality construction using premium resources have resulted not only in a quiet on road experience, but also with a comfortable and safe ride. To start this week off, we had a customer come in with his new Ford Ranger. The new Ford Ranger is taking over Australian roads. Holden VF SS Ute gets Lexani R12

We then had a Holden VF SS Ute come in. The Holden VF SS Ute is arguably the best looking ute that’s ever come from Australia’s domestic market. These days the SS packs an LS3, which was once only for Special Holden Vehicles, and with such tremendous power and sleek sports-car looks…What more could you want? Well this owner wanted to go above and beyond the standard SS Ute and add wheels, tyres and a subtle lowering!

We wanted to bring this owner's fantasy to life. The search was on for a wheel that was; 1. Black with Polished Dish 2. Deep dish 3. Concave 4. Milled spoke egdes 5. Clear the big Brembo brakes and 6. A staggered set up.  Ok, so this owner knew exactly what he wanted, but lucky for him we had more than 1 wheel ready for him!

After some soul searching the Lexani R12 in Gloss Black with CNC Window and a Chrome lip seemed like the perfect wheel! These wheels matched all his original requirements, the final set being a staggered 20x8.5 up front and 20x10 down the back. Next up was maintaining traction, so a set of Lexani LX-Twenty tyres in 245/35/R20 on the front and 275/30/R20 on the rear.

The final product is mouth-watering to say the least!

Hussla 027 for 2016 Subaru STI

The heading might sound a little like an election ballot, but if you’re here and reading this, you will know exactly what Hussla is and its highest selling wheel the 027 or HXR027. It’s the perfect sports wheel to suit most applications, and in this case a brand spanking new Subaru STI!

With its pumped guards from factory, the new STI already has a very menacing stance, but with its factory width and offset wheels, the aggressive design is almost a let down… that is until Ozzy Tyres got involved. With a tough race look in mind, the owner of this new STI knew it was going to be a one-piece black mag wheel he was after, and after going through the showroom the Hussla range stood out. In the end a set of 18x8.75 Hussla 027 in Matte Black were opted for.  Along with a set of Dunlop 245/40R18 tyres, this brand new STI is ready to hunt apex’s down on the street and track.

The final outcome was a simple, but sleek new look.

Godzilla, Nissan R34 GTR gets Hussla 027

Nissan R34 GTR’s are becoming quite the collectors’ car, with their prices plateauing and on the slight increase; it’s rare to see them out and about, being enjoyed. But for this GTR owner that isn’t an option. Not only does he want to drive it as much as he can… he also wanted some good looking, strong, concave wheels!

Que: Ozzy Tyres. With a JDM inspired look in mind the Hussla 027 was an easy pick. With 12 finishes to choose from, it was time to decide how subtle or extreme the upgrade would be. After careful thinking a subtle choice was made and a full set of Hussla 027 in Chromium were opted for, measuring 18x9.75 on all four corners.

The end product is subtle, JDM inspired and perfect for everyday driving in and around town… oh and the Touge (Japanese for twisty roads)!

Bentley Continental GT receives Avant Garde M580

Well this seems to be a week of firsts! Not only is this the first of many short stories for you guys, but we were also able to install the NEW Avant Garde M580 in Dark Tint. You know how it feels great to be the first? Fittingly, for the owner of this black Bentley Continental GT, he’s exactly that! He’s lucky #1 in Australia to get a set of Avant Garde’s newest wheel, the M580 in Dark Tint.

Measuring 20x10 on all four corners, the big bulky guards of the luxury sports Bentley were guaranteed to be filled. In addition a very wide set of Pirelli P-Zero tyres were wrapped around the AG M580’s, giving this Grand Tourer the traction it will need to reach the horizon. To keeping things tidy, the rotor hubs where painted gloss black to give an overall cleaner look and of course to showcase how beautiful the new wheels and tyres are.

The final product is chunky, subtle and forever changing with the light supplied. It’s seductive and sharp through the day, but mean as hell at night, it doesn’t get much better than this!

HSV Clubsport gets the Avant Garde M580 Dark Tint treatment

Whilst the Bentley was in getting the very first set of Avant Garde M580’s in Dark Tint, this beastly HSV rolled in and was after some new wheels. With its size and colour matching the Bentley… watching the M580’s transform the big luxury grand tourer left the owner thinking…. And I’m sure by now you know what popped into his mind.

Moments later there was a 20x10 Avant Garde in Dark Tint leaned up against the HSV, and yes it looked as good as he thought. In no time at all, a set of Zenna tyres were wrapped around 4 20x10 AG M580 rims, bolt up and wheel aligned. The end product is mean, the fitment slightly aggressive almost overfilling the guards and giving some poke up the front.  The new M580 is sure to be a crowd pleaser and we can’t wait to see them fitted up to more cars and especially more domestic market sedans!

BMW X6 becomes enchanted with Vertini Magic

Its grace will captivate you, its agility will move you and its stance will astonish you! The BMW X6 is the perfect blend of SUV and sports car. It already holds a sturdy, athletic design but to take it a step further and give it even more of a unique touch, this X6 owner came to Ozzy Tyres.

He wanted something subtle, yet classy to go with this beautiful car. After some thought, he decided to go with something in the Vertini Range, and the Vertini Magic in Matte Black stood out to him. When it came to choosing size 20x8.5 seemed to be the way to go!

The final outcome was certainly striking! The contrast of the white body against the matte black wheels was just simply breath-taking.

Ford Ranger, Another One!

Another Ford Ranger made its way into our shop this week, people will probably start thinking that we stock those too! We know that the Ford Ranger is great for both work and everyday use, so we needed tough and durable wheels to turn this Ranger into an absolute monster. When it comes to 4x4 tyres, Ozzy Tyres stocks such a huge range of wheels and tyres to choose from, especially in the KMC Range.

This owner decided to go with the KMC Enduro Pro in the Matte Grey with Black Lip, and what a choice it was! It allowed the car to look sleek and sophisticated, but maintain its tough look at the same time. Like the other Ford Ranger that came in this week, this owner wanted to make his car look beastly, so when it came to choosing size he went with the 20x9’s. We finished it off with a set of Monsta Terrain Grippers in 265/50/R20.

MONSTA-rous Range Rover

We then had a Range Rover come in, and oh what a beauty it was! The Range Rover is one of the great iconic motoring brands. It is the perfect example of a “Go anywhere, go luxury” kind of vehicle. It is so superior to all other off-roaders, but this owner wanted more for his car.

He wanted a tyre to suit both on-road and off-road conditions and of course, we had the perfect tyre for him! Another set of Monsta Terrain Grippers were applied this week, but this time in 285/50/R20. When you’re driving large, you need an element of class to affirm your size!

The Monsta Terrain Gripper really is the ultimate all-terrain performer, and for this Range Rover the final product was just perfect!

Holden VF SS UTE

Another VF SS Ute arrived at Ozzy Tyres this week. It’s smooth body panels simply amplify its lines and make the whole car look almost sports-car-like. Sporting Darth Vader on his tray cover, this Star Wars fan wanted another modification to his Ute an individual.

After quite some time adventuring around our showroom, this customer knew he had to go with a wheel in the Vertini Range. He was drawn to the Vertini Drift, but wasn’t sure on which colour he wanted. With the Ute being all black, he anticipated for something that would stand out… So with this, he came to the conclusion of the gold face with chrome lip. Perfect!

Next was choosing the size, and after careful thought he was certain on a set of 20x8.5 for the front, and 20x10 for the back. The final result was gorgeous to say the least, this Ute will most definitely turn heads down a busy road!

So what was meant to be a short story, has now turned into a long story, sorry! But we have been so busy this week and with so many nice cars coming through, we just have to show you!

Now for what went on in Fyshwick this week…

Mini receives Hussla 030’s

This gorgeous Mini received the ultimate make-over! The owner went for the Hussla 030 17x7.5’s in Gloss Black with Milled Accents, which really stood out against that classic red. To wrap it up, we put a set of Dunlop 205/45/R70 Tyres on for that extra traction on road. The final result was quite exquisite!

Orange is the new black with this Holden Commodore VF SV6

Next up we had a magnificent Holden Commodore VF SV6 touch down at our Fyshwick store. Don’t they say “Orange is the new black?” Well if not, that’s what this owner thinks! To go along with the theme of the car we installed a new set of Hussla Zane 651’s in Dark Tint sizing up at 20x8.5 at the front, and 20x10 in the back. To add to that we added a pair of Lexani Tyres in 245/35/R20 to the front and 275/35/R20 to the back, making this car an absolute beast!

Volkswagen Golf & Volkswagen Golf GTI do the Hussle with the Hussla Range!

We had two Volkswagen Golf’s come in this week, one being a GTI. Both owners went for some Hussla Wheels, how could they not? The GTI owner chose a set of the new and popular Hussla Zane 651’s in Dark Tint and went for 19x8.5 in size, which were then paired up with a set of Lexani LX20 Tyres in 275/35/R19. However the owner of the red Golf decided that the Hussla MIA 641’s were a better fit for their car. Going for the same wheel size as the GTI, Hussla MIA’s were fitted along with a set of Lexani Tyres in 235/25/R19. Both owners drove off with big smiles on their faces, as well as new wheels and tyres for their Golf’s.

BMW 3 Series Gran Coupe

Now isn’t this a beauty? This BMW 3 Series Gran Coupe zoomed into our shop ready for a new set of wheels and tyres. This owner didn’t want too much of a change, but just wanted a subtle, yet classy adjustment. Another pair of Hussla MIA 615’s were added onto this BMW in Dark Tint with staggered sizes at 19x8.5 at the front, and 19x9.5 at the back, but keeping the classic BMW center-cap. We finished it off with Lexani Tyres in 235/35/R19 at the front and 255/35/19’s for the rear.

Subaru WRX collects a fresh set of Tiffany Blue Wheels

This Subaru WRX drove out of our shop as pretty much a whole different car! It received the Hussla 027’s in Tiffany Blue at which just looks so good against white. The wheels came in 18x8.75 and we also ran an aggressive 38 offset. Lexani Tyres seemed to be the go-to at the Fyshwick store this week, so we added the 215/35/18’s for this Subaru’s grand finale!

Happy Easter! We hope you had an awesome long weekend, we know we did!

Welcome to Week 12 in review. We can’t believe Easter has just passed, it feels like Christmas was just yesterday! Monday Blues with this Suzuki Swift!

We started off this week with another happy customer! She came in with her white Suzuki Swift and wanted to take advantage of our Buy 3, get the 4th FREE sale that we were running for AVID1 wheels.

To really stand out, she went with the 16x8 AVID AV-12’s in Bright Blue/Machine Lip Wheel. I mean against the white, we don’t know what could’ve stood out more! Featuring a 2-Step polished lip and a retro mesh design it definitely gets this car the attention it deserves. To finish it off, a set of Falken 205/45R16 tyres were fitted to guarantee that extra safety and driving pleasure on the road!

Another JDM inspired car!

This Honda Accord Euro owner came in wanting a fresh JDM style for his car. In previous weeks he had seen us talking about all his options, for him there really are just too many options to choose from! But in this case it was best to go with main attraction the HUSSLA 027.

With 12 colours to choose from, multiple sizes and offsets, this Accord Euro went with the Matte Bronze to stand out that little bit from the black paint of the car. The 027’s measured up to 18x8.75 and were wrapped up with Kumho 215/40ZR18 tyres. To really finalise this JDM look, the brakes were sprayed red. The end result engaged simplicity, yet it will still stand out on a busy street.

Chameleon or Spider? Why not both?!

It’s not every day that you come across an awesome paintjob like this on a Honda Prelude, or any car for that matter! This owner obviously wanted to make the most of customising his car, so he definitely came to the right place.

There was no doubt that the new Hussla Spider 673 wheels were the way to go. With a unique spider-like spoke design and black/machined face, this car and its wheels were bound to look ferocious on the road. The wheels sized up to 18x7.5, paired up with a set of Falken 215/35R18 tyres. This Prelude left Ozzy Tyres ready to put on a show!

Black is Back

Every week another black car comes through wanting the all black treatment. We always say “Once you go black, you can never go back” and for this Mazda CX9 going all black was the only option.

Packing a whopping 22inch under the huge SUV guards, the CX9 now filled with the joys of the Vertini Dynasty wheel. The Vertini Dynasty is one of our top selling wheels; it offers a unique inner lip mounts a flowing row of rivets that brings this wheel to the next level. For this black Mazda, matte black was the way to go, especially with the gold rivets for that extra wow-factor. One, Two, Three, FOR…D Ranger

Another Ford Ranger has made its way to Ozzy Tyres this week, we're beginning to lose count on just how many come in! This time round the customer opting for a touch of Matte Black, to further contrast with the Wildtrack’s gunmetal paint.

Just like most of the Ford Rangers that come through, this ranger went with the KMC Monster 2 treatment, bolting them on in 20x9. With the whole Ranger being a dark colour already, Full Matte Black was definitely the colour of choice for the wheels too. Paired up with a set of Monsta Terrain Grippers in 285/50R20, we guess you could say this car is Monsta-rous!

It’s Raining Green and Gold with this Commodore Wagon!

Ozzy, Ozzy, Ozzy… OI OI OI! It truly doesn't get more Aussie than this. The owner of this Green Commodore SS Wagon came in wanting to show off his Aussie pride.

To do so we started off with selecting a staggered set of gold faced wheels, the Vertini Drift seemed like the perfect fit! It is simple yet elegant, only complementing the striking green of this Commodore rather than overpowering it.

With a size of 20x8.5 at the front and 20x10 in the back, the Vertini Drift in this occasion going for a more aggressive fitment on the rear. The end product is true green and gold.

Ahhhh ! So many Spiders!

This week was a popular week for the all-new Hussla Spider 673 wheels. One of the latest wheels from Hussla, the 673 Spider is most certainly an eye-catcher, especially on this beautiful blue Ford FG XR6!

This owner was the first to own a set of the Spider 673’s, and boy was she pleased! She went with the black/machined face wheels, sizing up at 20x8.5. To complete the look, we fitted a set of the Zenna Argus tyres in 245/35R20 for that extra traction on the road. Jeep gets Luxurious with XO Luxury Wheels

When it comes to 4x4’s the motto seems to be “Go big or Go home” and for this Jeep Grand Cherokee, this was no exception.

A set of XO Luxury Wheels in Caracas fit this motto, and this Jeep too! It then came to choosing the size and colour, the owner finally decided on a whopping size of 22x10.5 and the popular Matte Black finish. To finish it all up a set of Lexani tyres in 265/40R22 completed this beast.

Mercedes SLK

The Mercedes SLK 200 is such a gorgeous car, with its timeless lines and electric hard top… why not upgrade the wheels to suit the todays fashion. To give this SLK even more of a custom touch the owner knew it was time for a set of Hussla wheels.

The exclusive Hussla Zane 651 is the way to go when you are after something masculine, yet subtle and classy. Going for a 20” and the elite Dark Tint finish, this owner definitely received exactly what he was looking for. Everybody loves a Mini Cooper! It is just a great modern interpretation of a classic car, and with movies like The Italian Job, they’re sure to put a smile on your face as well.

But how do you take a timeless design and make it fresh again? Wheels! For something simple, sleek, subtle... yet sporty, a set of Matte Black Hussla 030’s were selected and fitted. Another blue beauty made its way into Ozzy Tyres this week, this time it was a Nissan S15. As the all-Australian Hussla wheels get more and more popular as the weeks go on, there wasn’t much deliberation when it came to choosing wheels for this car.

With so much choice in the Hussla range, this new customer wanted something that will stand out against the blue and what better way than a Gold faced wheel? So the final contestants were down to the 050, 027, 021 or the 030, and the winner is … THE HUSSLA 027 in 18x9.75!

He couldn’t say no to making it a package deal, so along with the wheels a set of Roadstone Tyres in 215/35R18 were fitted and to top it off, he decided to match a set of blue locknuts onto his wheels.

Week 13 Review

Where do we begin? Can  you believe that one-third of 2016 is over already? It was super busy this week both online and in-store so we just can't wrap our heads around it! They do say time flies when you're having fun, and that is exactly what happened this week!

A huge range of cars came through this week, even a VF Holden that was the first of its kind to receive that Hussla Zane treatment. With that rare Dark Tint, who wouldn't want it?

We also received a massive shipment, restocking most of our Hussla, Stance and KMC Wheels, as well as our ever so popular Monsta Terrain Gripper tyres. Get your hands on them as soon as possible, before you miss out!

BMW E92 Coupe M-Sport

When the M division put so much energy into producing a seductive and subtle coupe, they will always hit the nail on the head. You don't have to persuade yourself that it's a good-looking car, because it is! In saying that to take the car next level, the addition of a new set of wheels is always a first and a must.

The Avant Garde wheels show resemblance to some of BMW’s finest racing wheels and look absolutely at ease on this car. Datsun Bluebird

It’s not every day you see a Japanese tuner classic like this one! For this Datsun Bluebird, it’s been modified for over 20 years packing quite a few kilowatts of shove. But as the years go by this owner knew that his baby has to keep up with modern trends, but still maintain its classic appeal. So what better than to get a new set of wheels and tyres!

Ford Explorer

We’re starting to see a trend here, this is the 3^rd Ford Explorer in black to come in and get these monster 22inch Fiero No.14’s! The best way to make a statement without going too overboard is to get a set of wheels with a nice contrast to your car. And that’s exactly what this Explorer owner has done.

The black and red design subtly contrasts with the big SUV and gives the car wanted ‘beef’ with its very deep gloss black dish. Going for a huge 20x9 we paired these wheels up with a set of Zenna 265/35ZR22 on all 4 corners. The final product brought a look that is still tough, but definitely brings that wow-factor.

Ford Ranger

We hope you aren’t getting sick of hearing about all these Ford Rangers, because we certainly aren’t! For this Ranger owner after a chat to our sales team and seeing the results of the previous Rangers, he was certain that what he wanted was the traditional Ford Ranger combination.

The KMC Rockstar 2 and Monsta Terrain Gripper were the perfect recipe for this vehicle. Going for the Matte Black finish to tie in the grills and roll bar, the owner also wanted to freshen up the braking system by adding detailed brake calipers to really make it all pop! Ford Ranger- Canberra

We’re starting to wonder if any Ford Ranger owner is satisfied with the factory wheels and tyres it comes with, because it’s the most popular vehicle to come in to our shops each and every week! But truth be told, wheels and tyres is our business and we know exactly how important a simple upgrade can be for any car. This week it was Canberra’s turn to transform this Gunmetal Ranger. Once again it’s in the details and tying the whole car together.

That’s why this owner went for the KMC Rockstar 2’s with the machined face with black accents, suited to the chrome grill and roll bar. 20inch wheels really intensifies the big wheel look, adding a set of Monsta Terrain Grippers in 285/50R20 to really complete that “tough guy” appearance.

He even chosen to have the white writing displayed to spice things up and tie the whole new look together.

Holden VF

The Hussla Zane’s have been seemingly popular these past few weeks, and who could blame it?! The contemporary subtle design amplifies its size and presence with a super concave face. This Holden VF owner wanted to be the first VF to get the ZANE Treament.

When it’s your turn for the carpool after soccer practice, you definitely want to ride up in style. This Honda Odyssey owner wanted to transform their family vehicle into something eye-catching and luxurious.

Kia Sportage

The name says it all, sport, and to maintain a sporty look we knew exactly what we needed to do for this car. We know the Hussla Spider 673’s have been extremely popular over these past two weeks, so when we showed them to this customer, he knew he just had to get his hands on them!

Subtly changing the overall look and owning the sport in sportage, a set of black with machined face Hussla Spiders were fitted. Measuring up at 18x7.5 and wrapped up in Kumho 245/50R18. This customer was certainly pleased with the final outcome!

Mazda RX7

The Mazda Rx7 is one of Japans most beautifully designed cars. Known for its sleek styling, unique rotary engine and pop up lights, the two-door coupe was an instant hit from the moment it was introduced. Such a beautiful line design meant it was time for very subtle wheels.

We suggested a set of the very popular Hussla Zane’s. As you probably know with the 5 spoke-concave design, the unique dark tint and added detailed brake calipers, this customer just couldn’t say no! Mitsubishi Lancer

The Lancer has been one of Australia’s favourite tuner cars for nearly 2 decades. Over that time the styling has changed and the technology has changed but the bottom line of modifying and upgraded has stayed the same.

We put a set of Hussla 030’s on this Lancer for a pretty subtle change. When we say subtle we mean that from a distance it doesn’t seem like too much is going on. But that’s the beauty of the Gloss Black with Milled Accents finish. Up close you can see the Milled detailing on the edges of the spokes, giving this wheel that little bit of an edge.

The final product measured up as 17x7 for the wheels, and we finished up this modification with a set of Zenna Argus 215/40ZR17 tyres.

Subaru Forester

We then had this beast drive into our store. The Subaru Forester- perfect for the family, both on and off road! This customer was after something tough and macho, but at the same time sophisticated. With a wide range of matte black wheels to choose from, he finally decided on the Vertini Dynasty.

All black with a touch of red, classic. The depth from the rivets allow an all-black wheel to have character and show off the sheer size of these huge wheels. And with the brakes sprayed red, this Forester is certainly eye-catching. The wheels measured up at 20x10, then they were finalised with the Lexani LX20 in 245/35ZR20 to match each wheel.

Subaru Impreza

For this new Subaru Impreza, one of its first adventures was into Ozzy Tyres to get a new set of wheels. This owner wasn’t wasting anytime at all! He knew exactly what he wanted.

With 9 spokes and a super straight or concave design, the Hussla Mia 641 was the hot pick for this Impreza! The Hussla Mia in gloss black with machined tips is one of our most recent additions to our showroom line up. Toyota Hilux

A brand new Toyota Kluger came into our shop this week, and what a beast it is! It is known as the modern family SUV, being a seven-seater with a powerful V6 engine that is smooth and quiet to drive. What else could make the drive even more smooth and quiet? Well, a new set of wheels and tyres from Ozzy Tyres!

This family man chose the Vertini Magic wheels in 20”, and what looks better on white than Matte Black? To take it that little step further, to really make it stand out, he decided that he wanted red detailed brake calipers to really tie the whole look together. Hyundai i30- Canberra

This young lady came into our Canberra store this week wanting a set of bright wheels on her Hyundai i30, something that was going to turn heads on the streets. So fittingly, we showed her to our Hussla Range.

We showed her the 027s, 021s and 030s since they all had such a range of colours to choose from. After lots of umm-ing and ahh-ing, she finally picked the 030’s. With 9 different colours to choose from there was just one that stood out to her the most… The Tiffany Blue! We then had them bolted, fitted and balanced and just like Cinderella’s glass slipper, these are the perfect fit.

Lexus Gs- Canberra

Our Canberra store had this gorgeous Lexus G6 drive in this week. How can you not admire the beautiful build of this car? This owner came in wanting bigger wheels for an even bigger car. This week seems to be very popular for the Hussla Zane, so of course, we suggested just that!

Going for a big size of 19x9.5, we wrapped the dark tint wheels in a set of Dunlop 245/40ZR19 wheels, filling the guards perfectly! The final product resulted in a very subtle, yet elegant finish.

Nissan 350z

They always say less is more and for this 350Z owner, that’s exactly what he was opting for when he came into Ozzy Tyres. He wanted something neat, tied together and classy… and as always, we had the perfect set of wheels for him!

The Avant Garde M310 was a flawless fit. It’s mesh style and inner spoke groove design adds a new twist to the mesh style design. VW Golf R32

When VW brought out the R32, people lost their minds! What was a 3.2L v6 doing in a little VW Golf, along with an all-wheel drive system and exhaust growl to make any driver notice a distinct difference? Well as impressive as the Golf R32 is, Ozzy Tyres were able to make it even better.

Golf R32, meet the Hussla 030. You guys know how popular the 030 is. 18x8.75 were selected for each corner and when it came to choosing the colour, this owner knew that all black is key. With the gloss black being chosen, the milled edges really brought shape to the wheel and the red brakes show off the stopping power of this little hot hatch.

Toyota Corolla

Sometimes stock/standard isn’t the answer. A person’s car is usually said to be an expression of the owner’s personality. So why settle for what everyone else has? All cars deserve a pair of wheels that suit not only the car, but the owner too! Another young lady came into our Canberra store this week telling us exactly what she wanted, and we were more than happy to help!

As black never goes out of style, this young lady wanted a set of wheels that could last her for years! The Hussla Range is always popular with our young customers. Firsts, first car and first set of wheels! Can’t go wrong there and from what we’re told he’s not going to slow down with bolting on upgrades for this green little Fiesta. Ken block watch out!

Opting out for a set of ever the so popular Hussla 027’s, this owner decided to go with something a little more simple by choosing his wheels in the gloss black with milled accents. He took the smaller option, picking the 17x8.25’s and then pairing them up with a set of Dunlop 205/40ZR17’s. The end result shows a subtle change, but an elegant one at that!

Another day, another tough as nails Ford Ranger! This time round getting the Monster treatment, matching KMC Monster 2 and Monsta Terrain Grippers.

We know that this is the typical way to go for a Ford Ranger Wildtrack. We’ve just had so many come through our shop that this owner knew he had to go with something from the KMC. He was determined to go with the tough matte black look,  so a set of KMC Monster 2’s were chosen, sizing up at 18x9. Holden Cruze

Time for a cruze? Well of course, especially with a new set of Hussla GT’s. The emerald green ties in perfectly with the gloss black with machined lip GT’s.

Honda Accord Euro

Subtly is key, and it’s always great knowing what direction you’re heading in. For this Honda Accord Euro that direction was straight into Ozzy Tyres to take advantage of our wheel and tyre package.

Toyota 86

The FT86 is well loved in Australia, we’re actually the 3^rd largest 86 market and 19”s are the right wheel choice for street driven 86’s. The extra size fills the gap in the guards without needing to be lowered.

This Toyota 86 needed a set of the new Hussla Mia’s to really stand out from the rest. To take its uniqueness that one step further, it was chosen in the dark tint colour. We’ve talked about this in previous weeks, but if you forget the dark tint is basically a black wheel which has had the face machined back to raw metal and from there, a clear coat with a dark grey tint has been added in, giving this wheel a completely different look from day to night. To finish up a set of the Zenna Argus 225/35R19 tyres were added for that extra safety on the Canberra roads.

VW Golf Canberra

Less is more, but even a nice little European hatch back deserves some extra love when personalising it to suit your desired needs. For this Golf owner the standard wheels just wouldn’t do and so, a set of 18” Black Hussla 030’s were his only option. The gloss black with milled accents are selling fast, but who could blame it? The milled accents add that little something extra to such a simple wheel. Chrysler 300c

Time for a new set of wheels? Yes please.  This 300c decided to go smaller, coming in on 22inch chrome wheels and leaving with a wider more aggressive set of 20” Vertini Magic wheels in matte black. We know that a matte black wheel against a white car offers up that classy look. That’s exactly what this owner wanted.

The Ford GT is a mean machine, and this special edition has become more special since the day it left the showroom floor. Not only is it a collector’s item, but it’s a personal item for this owner and a personal item he wanted to personalise to suit.

Que Ozzy tyres, and a set of the Stance SC1 wheels. We had a massive shipment of Stance wheels come in last week, so when this owner saw them he knew he had to get in quick! Holden Colorado

Ready to go off-road?  This Colorado is. The beaten trail waiting, camp sites beware and fire trails get ready to be dominated.

With so many options to choose from, this Colorado needed something from the KMC Range as we know that when the word “tough” is said, a KMC wheel follows shortly behind. The KMC Enduro Pro was the chosen one, going for a 17x9 in the matter black with the grey lip for something a little different. To bring this modification to an end a set of the Gladiator 265/70R17 tyres were put on to bring that tough look to this Colorado.

The brand new Holden Cruze is getting attention, especially the hatch. We have numerous ones coming in, but this particular red one wanted an aggressive set of 18” wheels to transform this beauty into something unique.

Go big, or go home. Why not, go big then go home to show the kids how insane mum’s new wheels are? Well for this GL owner, that’s the case and just check out those 24inch KMC wheels!

Another Mitsubishi Lancer came riding through our Sydney store this week this time only wanting a simple transformation.

All black everything on a SUV is a timeless option… and after a visit to Ozzy Tyres this Holden is now timeless!

The KMC Slide was the way to, with its smooth design and tidy centre cap this Holden was ready to be murdered out. JDM Style for days, and days… weeks and months. This Subaru BRZ had a heap of STI goodies, but needed the guards to be filled. With a staggered set of 18” Hussla GT’s this owner was ready to take his car to the next level.
